Capacity building is a corner stone of the Enhanced Integrated Framework with a view to improve the ability of Ministry of Industry and Trade and institutions associated with trade to integrate to global trading system.
Since the inception of the Enhanced Integrated Framework at the end of 2009, EIF Yemen has embraced a continuous English language training program aimed at raising the level of English language proficiency of Ministry of Industry and Trade staff.
The Public-Private sector Dialogue Council convened on Tuesday the 4th of February at Sharaan Hotel presided over by the Minister of Industry and Trade Dr Saadaldeen Talib in the presence of the Deputies and Assistant Deputies of the Ministry of Industry and Trade. The Private sector was represented by Mr. ABdulwahab Abdo Thabit, the Director General of the General Federation of Chambers of Commerce Industry, Fathy Abdulwasa Hail Saeed Anam and Hassan Mohammed al-Kaboos.
H.E The Minister Of Industry and Trade, Dr Saadadeen Talib received on Tuesday 21 January 2014,along with Deputy Minister Iqbal Yassin Bahader the new Senior Country Director of UNDP Ms. Mikiko Tanaka who replaces Mr. Gustavo Gunzales.
The Minister welcomed Ms. Tanaka and discussed with here aspects of cooperation between the UNDP office in Yemen and Ministry of Industry and ways of advancing forward.
